Full Terms & Conditions

1. This Promotion is open to general admission ticket holders to the Somerset House Summer Series 2025, excluding employees of the Promoter, its agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.

2. No additional purchase necessary beyond the original purchase of a general admission ticket prior to their admission time.

3. No person may receive more than 1 Gift.

4. The Gifts: 135 ticket holders per day (“winners”) from the 10/07/25 – 13/07/25 and the 17/07/25 – 20/07/25 will be randomly selected to receive 1 x pair of Amex Lounge upgrade passes.

5. Further Gift Details and Conditions:

a. The passes are only valid for the day that the winner’s general admission tickets are valid for.
b. Winners will receive their passes via email.
c. Winners can use their pass to enter the American Express Lounge at the below times (“happy hour”) on the applicable day:
i. 19:00 – 20:00 on the 10/07/25 – 13/07/25, 17/07/25 and 20/07/25
ii. 18:30 – 19:30 on the 18/07/25
iii. 16:30 – 17:30 on the 19/07/25
d. Winners will not be asked to leave the lounge when happy hour ends, however, they will not be able to re-enter once they have left the lounge.

6. Winner Selection: 135 provisional winners per day from the 10/07/25 – 13/07/25 and the 17/07/25 – 20/07/25 will be randomly selected from all general admission ticket holders to the Somerset House Summer Series 2025. Winner Selection will take place via a random computer process.

7. Winner Notification: Provisional winners will be contacted via the email address associated with the purchase of their general admission ticket within 2 working days of Winner Selection.

8. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list containing applicable information of the winners required by the Advertising Standards Authority will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available by sending a request via email to visitor@somersethouse.org.uk. Winners can object to their details being published by emailing visitor@somersethouse.org.uk. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.

9. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Gift Acceptance.

10. The Gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Gift is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Gift for another of equal or greater value.

11. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS15874) or accepting or using the/a Gift(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

12. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

13. Your personal data has been processed for the purposes of this Promotion under the lawful basis of legitimate interest. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. 14. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

15. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

16. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
