Amex National Theatre Tombola – Full Terms and Conditions
1. This Promotion is open to those:
a. aged 15 or over, and those aged between 15 to 18 must have adult supervision;
b. with a valid ticket to the National Theatre’s Ballet Shoes for select dates (see Clause 6 for further details),
c. excluding employees of the Promoter, its agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.
2. Entrants must ensure that their participation (including acceptance of any prize) is lawful in accordance with the laws of their country of residence. This promotion is void where void under local national laws. The Promoter will not be taken to make any representations, express or implied, as to the lawfulness of any individual’s participation, or as to any other aspect of any Promotion.
3. No purchase necessary, a valid ticket to Ballet Shoes (on select dates) is required. For the Amex Tumblr, an Amex Card Membership is required.
4. Promotion Period: Enter between:
a. 17:00 GMT and 18:30 GMT, and between 21:10 GMT and 21:30 GMT on 2 December 2025;
b. 12:00 GMT and 13:30 GMT, and between 16:10 GMT and 16:40 GMT on 3 December 2025;
c. 17:30 GMT and 19:00 GMT, and between 21:40 GMT and 22:10 GMT on 3 December 2025;
d. 17:30 GMT and 19:00 GMT, and between 21:40 GMT and 22:10 GMT on 4 December 2025;
e. 17:30 GMT and 19:00 GMT, and between 21:40 GMT and 22:10 GMT on 5 December 2025;
f. 12:00 GMT and 13:30 GMT, and between 16:10 GMT and 16:40 GMT on 6 December 2025;
g. 17:30 GMT and 19:00 GMT, and between 21:40 GMT and 22:10 GMT on 6 December 2025;
h. 17:30 GMT and 19:00 GMT, and between 21:40 GMT and 22:10 GMT on 8 December 2025; and
i. 17:00 GMT and 18:30 GMT, and between 21:10 GMT and 21:40 GMT on 9 December 2025.
Or until all allotted Prizes and/or Gifts for the relevant day have been won/claimed (each a “Entry Period”).
5. To Participate: Visit the American Express pop-up in the foyer of the National Theatre, Upper Ground, South Bank, London, SE1 9PX, scan the QR code, show a valid ticket for the Ballet Shoes performance and join the queue. American Express Card holders will be given a token by the brand ambassador after check-in. Entrants under the age of 18 can participate under adult supervision.
a. Tombola Promotion: Pick a token out from the tombola to find out instantly if you have won a Prize.
b. Gifts: At the kiosk speak to a Brand Ambassador, answer the question to receive a Gift package based on your answer. American Express Card Holders must give the brand ambassador the token given at the start of the queue to receive an additional Gift.
6. Further Participation Conditions:
a. Entrants must have a valid ticket to selected performances of the Ballet Shoes to enter. The select performances include:
i. 18:30 GMT – 21:10 GMT on 2 December 2025.
ii. 13:30 GMT – 16:10 GMT on 3 December 2025.
iii. 19:00 GMT – 21:40 GMT on 3 December 2025.
iv. 19:00 GMT – 21:40 GMT on 4 December 2025.
v. 19:00 GMT – 21:40 GMT on 5 December 2025.
vi. 13:30 GMT – 16:10 GMT on 6 December 2025.
vii. 19:00 GMT – 21:40 GMT on 6 December 2025.
viii. 19:00 GMT – 21:40 GMT on 8 December 2025.
ix. 18:30 GMT – 21:10 GMT on 9 December 2025.
7. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person during the Promotion Period. No person may win more than 1 Prize. No person may receive more than 1 Gift.
8. Prizes & Gifts:
a. Tombola Promotion: There will be a total of 147 winners across the entire Promotion Period.
i. 2 December 2025, 3 December 2025, 4 December 2025, 5 December 2025, 6 December 2025, 8 December 2025 inclusive: there will be 16 prizes available to be won per Entry Period. Each winner will win 1 x £50 National Theatre Voucher.
ii. 9 December 2025: there will be 19 Prizes available to be won per Entry Period. Each winner will win 1 x £50 National Theatre Voucher.
b. Gifts: There will be a total of 1620 gifts across the entire Promotion Period. There will be 180 gifts available per Entry Period. Each participant will receive either a ‘Adventurer’, ‘Performer’ or ‘Artist’ Gift based on their answers to the personality questions. Gifts will be on a first come first serve basis and are subject to availability.

c. Amex Card Members Gift: 720 American Express Tumblrs will be available across the entire Promotion Period. There will be 80 gifts available per Entry Period to those who are given a token and hand the token to the Brand Ambassador at the kiosk.
9. Further Prize and Gift Details and Conditions:
a. If the winner of the Tombola is under the age of 18, the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.
b. Gifts are available on a first come, first served basis each day, whilst stocks last.
c. Tombola Promotion:
i. The National Theatre Voucher will expire on 9 December 2026.
ii. The winner will not receive any compensation if the full voucher is not used.
iii. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, stolen or fraudulently used vouchers.

10. Tombola Promotion Prize Claiming: If you pick a winning token, you will be required to hand it to the Brand Ambassador, provide your details and collect your National Theatre Voucher. Any claims received that do not meet these requirements or are received after the relevant Entry Period, will be void and invalid.
11. Gift Claiming: The first 180 claimants per Entry Period will receive their Gift in person immediately.
12. American Express Gift Claiming: The first 80 American Express claimants per Entry Period will receive their Gift in person immediately by giving their token to the Brand Ambassador.
13. Transferability of Winning Tokens: Winning tokens must not be sold for commercial gain in any way, including on online auction sites. Winning tokens must not be transferred for no commercial gain without the permission of the Promoter. If the Promoter becomes aware that a winning token has been made available for sale, bought, sold or transferred, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to redeem the winning token without payment of compensation to the entrant who submits the relevant winning token for verification as a valid win.
14. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list containing the surname and county of residence of the winners will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available by sending a request via email to brandexperience@momentumww.com. Winners can object to their details being published by emailing brandexperience@momentumww.com. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.
15. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.
16. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you participate in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize or Gift awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
a. Verify the eligibility of participants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.
b. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
d. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
e. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.
17. The Prizes and Gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize or Gift and/or any element of a Prize or Gift is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or Gift or element of the Prize or Gift for another of equal or greater value.
18. No responsibility can be taken for entries or claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the American Express Tombola.
19. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS16162) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
20. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
21. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: www.americanexpress.com/uk/legal/online-privacy-statement.html.
22. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
23. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
24. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
25. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
