Official Rules

This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years old, are Booking.com Genius loyalty members, and have an active Booking.com Genius account before the Sweepstakes Period begins. Creating a Genius account is free and does not itself constitute an entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, administrators, creative entities, and representatives of Booking.com (the “Sponsor”), the MLB Entities (as defined below), and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and members of their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouses, and life partners) and members of their households, are not eligible. This exclusion also applies to persons professionally associated with this Sweepstakes. “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (the “Clubs”), and each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities.
This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
Requirements to Enter:
I. No purchase is necessary. Internet access, a valid email address, and an active Booking.com Genius account are required. The Booking.com app is required only for Entry Route 2. No U.S. bank account is required to enter; however, a winner must have a U.S.-registered bank account to claim and receive the Prize. The $800 spending-money allowance and tax allowance will be paid or provided as described in the Tax Obligations and Privacy provisions via bank transfer to a U.S.-registered bank account; any payment-account information required by that method will be requested only after a winner is selected and handled as described in the Privacy provision.
II. All entrants must have an active Booking.com Genius account before 12:00:00 AM EDT on September 14, 2026, the start of the Sweepstakes Period. Entrants who do not already have one may create a free account at www.booking.com. Creating or activating an account does not itself constitute an entry; an entrant must complete one of the Entry Routes in Section 5.
Sweepstakes Period: Enter between 12:00:00 AM EDT on September 14, 2026, and 11:59:59 PM EDT on September 25, 2026, inclusive.
To Enter: You may enter once, using either of the following routes. The routes share one pool of eligible entries and do not create separate chances.
I. Entry Route 1: If you receive a Sweepstakes email at the email address associated with your eligible Booking.com account, click the link during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the instructions to (a) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, (b) acknowledge the Booking.com privacy notice, and (c) click “Enter the sweepstakes.” A separate request for marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of entry or winning.
II. Entry Route 2: Open the Booking.com app, or download it for free from an applicable app store, and log in to your eligible Booking.com account. If you have enabled push or in-app notifications, open the Sweepstakes notification, follow the link, and follow the instructions to (a) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, (b) acknowledge the Booking.com privacy notice, and (c) click “Enter the sweepstakes.” Consent to receive marketing communications is optional and is not a condition of entry or winning.
III. Entry Route 3: Eligible Genius members who do not receive a promotional email or push/in-app notification may access the public Sweepstakes landing page and follow the instructions provided there to access the Sweepstakes in the Booking.com app. If you already have the Booking.com app installed, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app using the QR code provided on the Sweepstakes landing page in order to access the Sweepstakes. Standard data charges may apply.
Entry Communications:
I. The email route is available to eligible entrants who were subscribed to Booking.com marketing email by September 14, 2026. The app route is available to eligible entrants who have the app and enable push or in-app notifications during the Sweepstakes Period. An entrant needs to use only one route. Marketing consent affects only whether promotional communications are sent; it does not affect eligibility, odds, winning, or Prize fulfilment. Sweepstakes communications will be sent only to Booking.com accounts registered in the United States.
No more than one (1) entry per person is permitted during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of route or account. No person may win more than one (1) Prize.
Odds of Winning: Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The Prizes: There will be three (3) winners. Each winner will receive one trip for the winner and one (1) guest to attend Games 3 and 4 of the MLB World Series™ scheduled to take place between 10/23/26 and 10/28/26 (location and time to be confirmed no later than 10/20/26, dates are subject to change based upon Division Series results). MLB and/or the applicable Club will determine the exact game dates and times based on the Series schedule; those dates and times may change.
I. Return economy flights from a reasonably convenient airport near the winner’s home address to the confirmed U.S. city. Flights are subject to availability and reasonable routing.
II. Four (4) nights’ accommodation for the winner and guest in a double room at a minimum four-star hotel, including breakfast. Hotel details are subject to availability.
III. Two (2) tickets (one for the winner and one for the guest) to Game 3 of the MLB World Series™. Exact ticket details and seat locations are subject to availability, with a maximum total value of $1,000 for the two tickets.
IV. Two (2) tickets (one for the winner and one for the guest) to Game 4 of the MLB World Series™. Exact ticket details and seat locations are subject to availability, with a maximum total value of $1,000 for the two tickets.
V. Return transfers for the winner and guest between the winner’s home address and the airport and within the confirmed U.S. city, including between the airport, hotel, and MLB World Series™ event, as reasonably arranged by Sponsor.
VI. $800 spending-money allowance, paid or provided as described in the Tax Obligations provision.
VII. Winner will also receive an allowance, paid or provided as described in the Tax Obligations provision, equal to 30% of the total value of the prize elements accepted by the winner. This is intended to be used to assist with the payment of associated taxes. Depending upon the Winner’s federal, state and local tax obligations, this amount may only cover a portion of the tax liability owed. The payment itself may be subject to taxation. Please consult a tax professional for more information.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize for one winner and one guest is $9,600 exclusive of the tax allowance payment. In addition, the winner will receive a cash payment equal to 30% of the total value of the prize elements accepted by the winner, which may be used to assist with the payment of associated taxes. Accordingly, if all prize elements are accepted, the total Prize ARV will be approximately $12,480. Actual value may vary if a winner declines any prize element and the tax allowance payment is adjusted accordingly.
The total Prize pool ARV is approximately $37,440 assuming all prize elements are accepted by all winners. ARV is approximate and may vary by winner’s location and other factors.

Further Prize Details and Conditions:
I. Sponsor or its prize-fulfillment provider will contact the winner by email to arrange the Prize. Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to provide available Prize details promptly. Arrangements will be subject to availability and the applicable MLB, airline, venue, and provider terms and will not materially reduce the included Prize elements except as permitted by these Official Rules.
II. The confirmed destination will be confirmed no later than 10/20/26 and will be provided to the winner when available. Exact dates, times, locations, and activities are subject to MLB scheduling, availability, and these Official Rules. Once confirmed, the winner may not change them unless Sponsor agrees or a change is required by applicable law or the relevant provider.
III. The winner’s guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her(their) jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
IV. At Sponsor’s request, the winner and/or guest may be required to undergo a lawful background or other verification check, or provide information reasonably necessary to (a) confirm eligibility; (b) address a legitimate, specific safety or security concern; (c) identify an applicable venue ban or restriction; (d) verify compliance with applicable law; (e) address sanctions, fraud, or other dishonest conduct; or (f) assess a material and reasonably foreseeable risk that the person’s participation in or association with the Prize or Sweepstakes would harm the Sponsor’s or MLB Entities’ goodwill. Any check, including a lawful public-record check, will be limited to information reasonably relevant to these purposes and conducted in accordance with applicable law. Acting in good faith and on a reasonable basis, Sponsor may disqualify a provisional winner and/or guest only if the information supports a determination that one of these circumstances applies; Sponsor will not rely solely on unsubstantiated allegations or information that is not reasonably relevant.
V. The winner is responsible for the conduct of the winner and guest during the Prize. Sponsor, the applicable venue, and the MLB Entities may deny entry or remove a winner or guest who materially violates directions or venue rules, poses an actual safety or security risk, or engages in threatening, abusive, harassing, disruptive, or unlawful conduct. Any action will be taken in good faith and in accordance with applicable venue rules and law.
VI. The winner and guest must comply with applicable venue terms and safety policies and exercise reasonable care at the event.
VII. No cash difference will be paid if the actual trip value is less than the ARV. ARV is approximate and may vary by winner’s location and other factors.
VIII. Tickets are valid only for the dates and times shown or communicated. If the winner cannot attend or cancels after accepting the Prize, the affected tickets or other unavailable elements may be forfeited and no substitute or reimbursement will be provided, except as required by applicable law or ticket terms.
IX. If the winner lives within 150 miles of the confirmed city, Sponsor may provide ground transportation instead of airfare. Sponsor may also provide comparable ground or other appropriate transportation when the winner’s home address or transportation availability makes that reasonable. No cash difference or substitution will be provided for any difference in value, unless required by applicable law.
X. Direct flights may not be available; indirect flights may be used. Sponsor will select a reasonable route based on availability and the winner’s home address.
XI. Airline seat selection are subject to availability.
XII. Lounge passes and upgrades are not permitted. Flights may not be combined with Sponsor or other loyalty programs, discounts, coupons, vouchers, promotions, or special offers.
XIII. The winner and guest must comply with the airline’s published Conditions of Carriage.
XIV. Flight extras, including onboard meals and drinks, are not included.
XV. Travel must occur on the dates and at the times stated or provided by Sponsor; no alternative itinerary is promised. Name changes are not permitted after tickets are confirmed.
XVI. The winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary, dates, and activities and share the provided room. If either does not travel as scheduled, unused Prize elements may be forfeited and Sponsor and Prize providers will have no further obligation for those elements.
XVII. Sponsor will pay for a standard room and related room taxes.
XVIII. A credit or debit card may be required at hotel check-in to guarantee incidentals. The winner is responsible for incidentals charged to that card.
XIX. The winner is responsible for hotel charges not expressly included, including meals and drinks other than the included breakfast, additional nights, services, and related taxes.
XX. The winner and guest are responsible for any required government-issued identification, travel documents, visas, or travel insurance.
XXI. The winner and guest must obtain required travel documents and comply with applicable entry, exit, immigration, and travel requirements. If the winner or guest cannot travel during the scheduled period for these reasons, the affected Prize may be forfeited.
XXII. The winner and guest are responsible for obtaining any insurance they consider appropriate, including health, travel, theft, loss, and property-damage coverage.
XXIII. Except for costs expressly included, the winner is responsible for the costs and expenses of claiming or using the Prize.
XXIV. If any Prize element is delayed, postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled, the applicable ticket, venue, airline, or provider terms and the game-cancellation provision below will apply. No compensation or reimbursement will be provided except as required by those terms or applicable law.
XXV. Tickets may be delivered through an MLB or other ticketing platform identified by the ticket issuer. The winner may need to create an account on that platform to access the tickets.

XXVII. Tickets will be issued in the winner’s full name. The winner and guest may be required to show government-issued photo ID matching the ticket name. The winner is responsible for providing accurate details by the deadline stated in the winner notification; Sponsor is not responsible for denial of entry caused by inaccurate or late information supplied by the winner, except as required by law.
XXVIII. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be sold or exchanged. If a game cannot be played as planned, including because of cancellation, postponement, weather, or another event outside Sponsor’s reasonable control, the applicable ticket terms will govern. Subject to those terms and applicable law, Sponsor may provide a comparable substitute of equal or greater value for the affected game or ticket where reasonably practicable. Unaffected Prize elements will remain available. If no comparable substitute is reasonably practicable, the affected element may be cancelled; Sponsor will not re-award tickets or reimburse expenses unless the ticket terms or applicable law require it.
XXIX. Use of any MLB game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the applicable ticket terms, health and safety policies, and ballpark rules; see https://www.mlb.com/tickets/terms-and-conditions for current ticket terms. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Each winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in his/her(their) jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Each winner and their guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to any winner and/or their guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Released Parties (as defined below) will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy, work stoppage, epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety, or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket. Participation in the prize event is subject to each winner’s (and guest’s) consent to and compliance with all health and safety policies of the MLB Entities.
XXX. For clarity, the Prize includes only the return flights or permitted alternate transportation, transfers, four (4) nights’ accommodation in a double room at a minimum four-star hotel including breakfast, tickets to Games 3 and 4, the $800 spending-money allowance, and the tax allowance, together with the standard room and related room taxes described above. It does not include meals or drinks other than included breakfast, souvenirs, gratuities, parking, excess baggage, additional nights, excursions, attractions, or other personal costs not expressly listed.
XXXI. The winner must notify Sponsor of any wheelchair or similar access needs as soon as reasonably practicable after accepting the Prize so Sponsor can coordinate available accommodations.
Winner Selection: Three (3) provisional winners will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. PromoVeritas, an independent sweepstakes verification service, will conduct the drawing within three (3) business days after the Sweepstakes Period ends.
Winner Notification: Sponsor will notify each provisional winner at the email address associated with the eligible Booking.com account within one (1) business day after the drawing and will request reasonable proof of identity and eligibility. A provisional winner must respond within three (3) business days after the notification is sent. If a provisional winner does not respond by that deadline, cannot be verified, or does not satisfy these Official Rules, Sponsor may disqualify that person in good faith and select a reserve winner at random, time permitting. A reserve winner may have a shorter response period only when reasonably necessary because of the travel schedule, and the deadline will be stated in the notice. Sponsor is not responsible for a notification not received because of an incorrect address, spam filter, or service failure outside its reasonable control.
At Sponsor’s request, a provisional winner may be required to complete a declaration of eligibility and a travel or participation release limited to the risks and activities reasonably associated with the Prize, except where prohibited by law. Any publicity release will be requested only where permitted by applicable law and for the uses described in the Publicity provision. A provisional winner must also complete and return an IRS Form W-9 if reasonably required for tax reporting or other legal compliance. Sponsor will request Social Security numbers only through the W-9 or another form reasonably required by law and will use them as described in the Privacy provision. The requested forms must be returned within three (3) business days after they are sent, unless the notice states a later deadline. If the provisional winner does not timely return a required form, Sponsor may disqualify that person in good faith and select a reserve winner, time permitting.
Tax Obligations: Each winner is responsible for federal, state, and local taxes and costs not expressly included. Sponsor will report the applicable taxable value of the Prize to the IRS and issue any information return required by law. Each winner must complete a W-9 when reasonably requested for that purpose. The tax allowance is intended to cover only a portion of the winner’s tax liability, which itself is taxable, and may not cover all taxes owed. No U.S. bank account is required to enter; however, a winner must have a U.S.-registered bank account to claim and receive the Prize. The $800 spending-money allowance and tax allowance will be paid or provided by bank transfer to a U.S.-registered bank account. If that method requires payment-account information, Sponsor will identify the requirement before payment and request only the information reasonably necessary for payment.
Prize Acceptance: Sponsor or its prize-fulfillment provider will send prize-arrangement information by email within three (3) business days after a winner accepts, or as soon as reasonably practicable given the travel schedule. If a winner does not receive that information, the winner may reply to the notification email or use the contact method stated in the notification. A failure of a provider to send a message will not by itself reduce the Prize; any forfeiture must be based on a stated deadline or the winner’s inability to complete required arrangements.
A winners list will be available four (4) weeks after the Sweepstakes Period ends for eight (8) weeks. To request a copy of the winners list, email booking-com-MLB-2026@promowinners.com. The list may include each winner’s name and state of residence to the extent required or permitted by law.
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Official Rules control over conflicting Sweepstakes materials. Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules only when reasonably necessary to correct an error, comply with law, address a security or fairness issue, or respond to an event outside Sponsor’s reasonable control. Any change will be applied prospectively where practicable and will not materially reduce an entrant’s rights or the stated Prize except as permitted by these Official Rules or applicable law.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: “Released Parties” means Sponsor, the MLB Entities, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and advertising, promotion, fulfillment, and technology providers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or communications, or for technical failures or other events outside their reasonable control. No Released Party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from the Sweepstakes or a Prize, except to the extent such limitation is not permitted by law. Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, or personal injury or death to the extent liability cannot legally be limited.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, the Sweepstakes and the Prizes are provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Official Rules limits any non-waivable consumer right or remedy.
Acceptance of a Prize gives Sponsor and the MLB Entities permission to use the winner’s name, city and state, likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information, and statements about the Sweepstakes for administering and publicizing this Sweepstakes and related Sponsor or MLB communications, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. No use is required, and this permission does not extend to unrelated commercial advertising or uses that require additional consent under applicable law.
Anti-Tampering: Deliberately damaging a website or undermining the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate civil or criminal law. Sponsor may pursue available remedies to the extent permitted by law.
Integrity and Eligibility Checks: Sponsor seeks to operate a fair and secure Sweepstakes. Acting in good faith and on reasonable grounds, Sponsor may withhold an entry or Prize while verifying eligibility or investigating a material violation of these Official Rules, fraud, tampering, or conduct that undermines the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes. Disqualification will be based on the applicable standards below and will not be based solely on an inadvertent error that does not affect eligibility or fairness.
I. Verify eligibility by requesting information reasonably necessary for that purpose.
II. Disqualify an entry not made directly by the person entering it.
III. Disqualify an entry using an anonymous or temporary email service only if the service prevents reasonable verification or otherwise violates these Official Rules.
IV. Disqualify bulk, incomplete, or automated entries, including entries submitted by macros, if they are prohibited by these Official Rules or undermine the fair operation of the Sweepstakes.
V. Disqualify entries exceeding the one-entry limit or using scripts, brute force, IP masking, aliases, false identities, or other deceptive means to evade these Rules or gain an unfair advantage.
VI. Disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry process or materially interferes with the Sweepstakes.
VII. Disqualify an entry that materially fails to meet these Official Rules or is fraudulent.
VIII. If tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failure, or another event outside Sponsor’s reasonable control compromises the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes. Where practicable, Sponsor will give notice and conduct the drawing from eligible entries received before the disruption. Sponsor will not materially change the entry limit or stated Prize except as permitted by these Official Rules or applicable law.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash except for the cash allowances expressly included in the Prize. If a non-game Prize element becomes unavailable, Sponsor may provide a comparable substitute of equal or greater value where reasonably practicable. Unaffected elements will remain available, and any substitution will comply with applicable law.
Sponsor is not responsible for undelivered email or other notices caused by an incorrect address, privacy or spam settings, or a service failure outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, corrupted, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, or not delivered for technical or other reasons. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Sponsor does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the Booking.com app.
By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. To the extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant releases the Released Parties from claims arising directly from the entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the Prize, except to the extent caused by a Released Party’s fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, or violation of law. This release does not waive non-waivable consumer rights or claims for injury or death that cannot legally be released. Each entrant remains responsible for the entrant’s own negligence, willful misconduct, and violation of third-party rights.
Force Majeure: Sponsor and the MLB Entities are not responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation caused by an event outside their reasonable control, including a health emergency, weather, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, earthquake, explosion, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, or other natural or human-made disaster. Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to provide any unaffected Prize elements, subject to applicable ticket and provider terms and applicable law.
Privacy: Sponsor will process personal information to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, conduct lawful background or public-record checks when required for the purposes described in these Official Rules, communicate with entrants and winners, arrange and deliver the Prize, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Sponsor may share information with the MLB Entities, PromoVeritas, prize-fulfillment, travel, ticketing, payment, tax-reporting, and technology service providers, and other persons when required by law, only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and subject to applicable law. A winner’s IRS Form W-9 and Social Security number will be collected only when reasonably required for tax reporting or legal compliance and will be used and disclosed for those purposes. Sponsor will retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes and its legal obligations. For details, see www.booking.com/content/privacy.html. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of entry or winning.
If any part of these Official Rules is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Disputes; Individual Arbitration: The parties waive all rights to trial in any action or proceeding institute in connection with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Sweepstakes. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in the state of Florida.
Governing Law and Venue: These Official Rules are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that applicable federal law and non-waivable law of the entrant’s state will apply where required. For matters not subject to arbitration, venue will lie in Florida to the extent permitted by law. This provision does not require an individual consumer to litigate in a forum that applicable law does not permit or waive any legally available consumer forum.
