Amex Roundhay Stone Throw – Full Terms & Conditions

Promoter: American Express Services Europe Limited, Belgrave House, 76 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 9AX, United Kingdom.

1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, its agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Promotion Period: Enter between 13:00 BST on 3 July 2026 and 20:00 BST on the 5 July 2026 inclusive, during one of the following entry windows:
   a. Between 13:00 BST and 20:50 BST inclusive on 3 July 2026;
   b. Between 13:00 BST and 20:50 BST inclusive on 4 July 2026; and
   c. Between 14:00 BST and 20:00 BST inclusive on 5 July 2026.
4. To Enter: Visit the AMEX Experience Stone Throw activation at the Roundhay Festival 2026 and locate the Sculpture Garden. Participate in the ring toss game to be entered into the Competition. Land all three hoops successfully to be deemed a winner.
5. Maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person per day during the Promotion Period. No person may win more than 3 Prizes throughout the Promotion Period.
6. The Prizes: There will be a total of 198 winners on 3 July 2026, a total of 204 winners on 4 July 2026 and a total of 143 winners on 5 July 2026. Each winner will win one of the following at random:
   a. 1 of 80 x £11 Food Vouchers valid for the same day only
   i. 35 available to be won each day on 3 July 2026 and 4 July 2026.
   ii. 10 available to be won on 5 July 2026.

b. 1 of 140 x American Express-branded water bottles
i. 70 available to be won each day on 3 July 2026 and 5 July 2026.

c. 1 of 70 x Lewis Capaldi design water bottles
i. 70 available to be won on 4 July 2026.

d. 1 of 200 x American Express-branded bandanas and charms
i. 70 available to be won each day on 3 July 2026 and 4 July 2026.
ii. 60 available to be won on 5 July 2026.

e. 1 of 20 x Lewis Capaldi merchandise caps
i. 20 available to be won on 4 July 2026.

f. 1 of 10 x pairs of Factory International tickets for one of the events set out in clause 7.e.i, determined at the Promoter’s discretion
i. 4 pairs available to be won each day on 3 and 4 July 2026.
ii. 2 pairs available to be won on 5 July 2026.

g. 1 of 22 x pairs of same-day VIP Upgrade tickets
i. 18 available to be won on 3 July 2026.
ii. 4 available to be won on 4 July 2026.

h. 1 of 3 x pairs of same-day backstage tour tickets
i. 1 pair available to be won each day on 3 July 2026, 4 July 2026 and 5 July 2026.

7. Further Prize Details and Conditions:
   a. Food Vouchers:
   i. Vouchers are valid at Roundhay Festival 2026 on the same day only.
   ii. The vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
   iii. Winners will not receive compensation if the full value of the voucher is not used.
   iv. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, stolen or fraudulently used vouchers.
   v. Full voucher terms and conditions will be provided on the voucher.
   b. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree that the Prize is awarded on an “as is” basis, and that the Promoter makes no representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the Prize.
   c. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming the prize.
   d. Any pictures depicting the prizes on any media including press advertisements, posters or TV commercials are indicative only and the actual prizes may vary from the depictions. The Promotion does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the products or services being offered as prizes.
   e. Ticket Prizes:
   i. Factory International tickets: 1) The tickets are for one of the following events:
   a. 1 of 2 x pairs of tickets to Freya Skye – 29/09/26
   b. 1 of 2 x pairs of tickets to Bloc Party / Interpol – 23/11/26
   c. 1 of 2 x pairs of tickets to David Bowie (Lightroom) – 11/12/26 @ 7pm
   d. 1 of 2 x pairs of tickets to Khalid – 23/09/26
   e. 1 of 2 x pairs of tickets to Courtney Barnett – 17/09/26 2) The winner will be provided full details of their allocated event upon winning. Event details, including the artist and dates, cannot be amended.
   ii. The Prize is for tickets only. Travel and accommodation are not included.
   iii. Tickets are valid for the winner and 1 guest.
   iv. The winner is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or their guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or if the winner and/or their guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue.
   v. The winner and their guest must abide by any relevant terms and conditions which form part of the Prize. Whilst at the event/venue, they must not: be drunk, intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, underage, be abusive, threatening, make or incite racial abuse, chant, use offensive language, make obscene gestures, throw items, behave anti-socially, carry laser pens, bring animals (except guide dogs), carry offensive weapons or illegal substances, carry candles, climb any structure, make excessive noise, offer any item for sale, damage the venue or smoke. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue.
   vi. The winner and their guest must abide by any relevant terms and conditions set by the venue/s which form part of their Prize. It is their responsibility to ensure that they take care when moving around the event/venue.
   vii. The winner will not be entitled to any compensation and will have no claim against the organisers if any event forming part of the prize is delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.
   viii. Once tickets have been issued, the Promoter, will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, illness of a performer or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter.
   ix. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
   x. Backstage tours: 1) The tour group will be picked up and dropped off after at the Amex Activation. 2) The maximum tour group side is 6 including Amex hosting staff. 3) All participants must comply with all directions of the staff taking the tour. Failure to comply may result in the winner and/or their guest being removed from the tour. 4) No photos or videos of backstage may be shared online. No photos or videos may be taken of backstage of the main stage or in the artist area. All participants must behave respectfully in the artist’s space. 5) Tours will run at the following times:
   a. On 3 July 2026, at 15:00 – 15:30
   b. On 4 July 2026, at 16:00 – 16:30
   c. On 5 July 2026, at 17:00 – 17:30
8. Winner Selection: The first 198 entrants on 3 July 2026, the first 204 entrants on 4 July 2026, and the first 143 entrants on 5 July 2026 who successfully complete the ring toss game will be deemed the provisional winners.
9. Prize Claiming: Provisional winners will be notified immediately on successful completion of the game. If a provisional winner does not claim their prize immediately, the Promoter will disqualify the provisional winner and return the Prize to the Prize pool which may be won by another entrant during the same day.
10. Prize Acceptance: Fulfilment of a Prize will take place immediately. In the unlikely event that a Prize is not received, the winner must inform a brand ambassador before leaving the Sculpture Garden on the same day. If a winner does not do so, we reserve the right to not reissue the Prize at our sole discretion.
11. Provided no objection is received from the ticket winners, a winners list containing the surname and county of residence of the ticket winners will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available by sending a request via email to festivalsmomentum@gmail.com. Winners can object to their details being published during the Winner Notification process. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.
12. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.
13. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry/ies (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:

a. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.

b. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.

c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

d. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

e. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.

h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

14. Entrants must complete their details using their legal name. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names or email addresses and to require them to return any Prize they may have won.
15. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason the Prizes or any element of the Prizes are not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value.
16. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the activation.
17. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (PV20406) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
18. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
19. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/legal/online-privacy-statement.html.
20. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
21. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
22. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
23. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
